Letter From the COO

We're deep into the holiday season and in the spirit of the season, we are thrilled to announce a new gift to our job seekers!  We are excited to announce the launch of our new candidate portal and job board.  It's easier than ever to manage your information and keep us updated on your status.  You are able to update your contact information, job preferences, and even upload different resume versions tailored for specific types of opportunities. Once you’ve registered with us, applying for a position is just a few clicks away.  If we already have your resume, we have created a profile in the new system for you.  To retrieve your password, simply click the "Forgot Your Password" link from the portal login, enter the email you registered with, and you will be emailed your new password.

Our new system means that our Recruiting Team will be able to more easily match you to our positions.  The system also alerts recruiters automatically if your resume matches an open position — and because you can make sure we always have your most up-to-date resume and contact information, no time will be wasted trying to track you down.  We are committed to continuing our development of the portal.  Please feel free to login and update your account today!

As we reported in the last newsletter, we are starting to see some improvement in the job market.  However, we know that many of you feel defeated, especially during the holidays.  If you're feeling the pinch and feeling down about your search, take a look at

Farewell to LAC's Jon Johnson

LAC’s Client Services Manager, Jon Johnson, is taking up a new opportunity with the government. We wish him all the best. While the 3 years he has been with us has flown by, during that time Jon was a vital presence in the LAC community, consistently enthusiastic and always offering up fresh ideas. As a part of the LAC team, and especially as the frontline contact at the Library of Congress, Jon forged strong relationships and created a lot of priceless good will. With all this in mind, we wish him a fond farewell and success in all his endeavors. Please join us in wishing him well!

Are you a “people” person who wants to take a leadership role in overseeing government accounts for library and information staff, who would communicate effectively with our diverse group of employees and capably represent our company in the government sector? We want to talk to you! The Library Champion Award is presented to the parent organization
