In this economy, enticing offers abound. But a lot of so-called bargains may turn out to be raw deals.

Yup, another heat wave to hit San Diego, and it is forecasted to be a hot few days. With high temps to hit the 90's at the coast and higher inland, this causes the perfect set up fo wild fires. This heat and dryness is referred to as a Santa Ana condition and is a real threat for Southern Californians. If you are unfamiliar with wildfires and Santa Ana winds, check out the link below to become 'schooled'! My plan for the next few days is to hit the beaches for some after summer fun! - Sep 14, San Diego Restaurant Returns!
September 13th through the 18th! In its fifth year as San Diego County's largest and most successful dining event, San Diego Restaurant Week was launched with the intention of spotlighting the city as a premier dining destination. Held twice annually, this beloved culinary tradition features more than 180 of San Diego's best restaurants offering fixed price, three-course meals for $20, $30 or $40. There are no tickets or passes required. Food lovers may simply dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like during San Diego Restaurant Week, explore new dining opportunities or enjoy old favorites. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling restaurants directly or visiting their profile online. Be sure to participate in this awesome opportunity! - Sep 4, Labor Day Weekend in San Diego!
Hot, Sunny, Holiday weekend! I say head for the beaches! San Diego has so many great spots to enjoy the water and sun, I say head to the coast. South Mission Beach has volleyball for all you sporty types! Check out La Jolla Shores for beginner surfing and boogey boarding! Check out La Jolla cove for snorkeling, it has been fantastic over the past few weeks. The water is so clear! Maybe rent a kayak at La Jolla shores and cruise around on top of the water, and perhaps spot a dolphin or two?! For all of you that like to look at 'the view', check out Pacific Beach. Here you will find the young, tanned, and in top shape males and females. There it is for you! My take on this holiday weekend, I say head for the BEACH! - Sep 3, Another North Park Music Thing!
Yup! It's true, another music thing in North Park! The second multi-day music fest of the year to take to the streets of North Park brings together more than 50 indie acts, many of which you've probably never heard of before. Shows are set to take place at Soda Bar, the Radio Room, U31 and the Office, and the fest ends with a Labor Day pool party at the Lafayette. Call it whatever you want.
