Fairmount cemetery is online. If the link I'm posting don't work do this. Go to http://www.sanangelotexas.org. The cemetery is listed under PARKS AND RECREATION. They have a list of all burials. Don't know how often they actually up date it. But the website is operated by the city of San Angelo.

  • Re: Cemetery Records-Fairmount Cemetery
I received a response from the cemetery office at Fairmount. Miss Opal Caler is indeed buried there. Her last name was spelt with a T instead of C on the listing. She does not have a headstone and he could only tell me that she was buried in the general area around the St. Francis statue.
Thank you again for your help,
    Betty McIntosh

  • Cemetery Records-Fairmount Cemetery
Recently discovered that my husband's great aunt; Opal Caler, passed away from TB (1933) while in the Sanatorium. Her death certificates states that she was buried in the Fairmount Cemetery the same day of her passsing, Nov. 16, 1933. I have not been able to find a listing of her (through Find a Grave, mostly) burial within this cemetery. I was wondering if anyone has a complete listing that they could verify if she is indeed buried in Fairmount. All help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you, Betty McIntosh

  • Sanitorium, Tom Green County, Texas
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to obtain records from Sanitorium...the TB hospital...now known as San Angelo State School? Specifically I would be looking for employment records/files, etc. We had several Curbow family members that worked there during the 1930s. Thanks for your insights.

  • Re: PIPKIN, CLEVELAND
Do you have any information about Lenore Gilbert Cleveland's parents? I have them as Chester C. Gilbert and Susanna/Susan Unger. Trying to trace when/where they died. Last find Susan widowed in the 1900 Santa Ana Township, Orange Co., CA census. I am descended through Susanna's sister and am trying to fill in blanks on the Unger family.

  • Is there a "merchant's directory" of some kind?
My great grandfather's death certificate states he (Calvin A. Koger) was a merchant in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas at the time of his death (1912) I am wondering what kind of merchant and why he was in this particular county, when he was thought to be living in Hunt County, Texas with his family. Any help is appreciated.

  • Reynolds and Fisher Families
Can anyone identify the people in these photographs?

    http://cid-39b1db14c948ff3a.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Mi...

I THINK these are pictures of the Reynolds and or Fisher families that may have belonged to Elizabeth (Bettie) Reynolds Fisher (26 Jul 1860-24 Aug 1936). Her husband was Walter Daniel Fisher (son of Thomas Dance Fisher & Martha Elizabeth Blackwell). Her parents were James P. Reynolds and Susannah Brasher of Fayette County. One of Elizabeth (Bettie) Reynolds Fisher's brothers, settled in Tom Green County.

My cousin Lindell thought this was the picture album of my grandmother Minnie Virginia Fisher Haile. I do not recognize these as being "Haile" pictures.
