  • Rose ?????
I am looking for information or relatives of a lady named Rose. I believe she may have been born in May 1951. On Sept. 4, 1967, Rose gave birth to a daughter in Elkhart County. The daughter was named Kim. Rose also had a son. I believe his name was Jimmy. I believe Jimmy & Kim were adopted by others; Kim was adopted in 1972. I believe Rose's surname was possibly McClain or perhaps the Kim's father's last name started with an M. If anyone has any information would they please contact me.

    Thank you.
  • Re: Eads family history
Hi Nelda (don't know if you're still on here neraly 8 years later), but I now have a picture of my mysterious grandfather John Harrison Eads that was apparently taken with his bride Effie on the day of their wedding. (That would have been 1912). Now I would like to compare pics of him and your mysterious grandfather Joe Sullivan to see if by chance they could be the same person. What year did your grandparents marry? And what year did he skip out? Similar circumstances to mine who skipped out sometime after 1926 when the family was living in Indiana. They had been in Missouri and Wyoming in the years before that...

  • Re: speaking German generations after immigration
If you both send the YDNA test results to Ysearch.org then you can compare the results via their website.

I used Familytree DNA for my YDNA test and on YSearch.org and can see results from Ancestry also.

Familytree DNA and Ancestry don't compare all the same markers but depending on how many markers you tested you can likely see if there is a close YDNA match.

  • Re: speaking German generations after immigration
Ancestry.com and FTDNA have enough markers in common for you to check whether you match one of the two distinct Schreiner signatures in the project now. I'm sure there are many more.

Also, you can create a record at http://www.ysearch.com and post your results there.
  • Re: speaking German generations after immigration
I got my DNA test through Ancestry.com...doesn't seem compatible with your DNA service. Eric
  • Re: Dora Letherman
I have a little information regarding Anitabell's children. My Dad was married to Anitabell's youngest daughter, Susan, who passed away last year. Her son, Don (my step-brother) lives in Portland and we speak often. Let me know if any of this information will help. Good luck!

I have some information and have photographed their headstones at Oakridge Cemetery here in Goshen. I'm unrelated, but live in Fred and Rose Hascall's house. Not sure that I can answer a lot of questions for you, but feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do.
