Felix: This is Ernie in Albuquerque. I was looking at the board that you asked about info on the State Sands. My grandpa Salomon Apodaca worked their in the 50's.He was the head of Maintenance their. He was working there as late as 1960. I think it was closed by then. He was taking care of the property. I'm not sure when he left there. I did not know you were interested about the Sand's. How are you and Margaret doing. I'm doing Ok. Let me know if I can help you with the Sand's. I really don't much more then what I told you about my grandpa. Later Ernestmontoya6@aol.com

  • Re: More info: Harry L. and Callie Beagle, Magdalena, Socorro Co., New Mexico ca 1904-after 1920
    Glad it helped!
You can find the death certificate for Harry Beagle here:
    http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#
(this system can be tricky;place the name, use the drop down menu to select "death and burial" and the place as "El Paso, Texas, United States". Then you get a list of options, click on the name;then click on the small image of a certificate at the top to get to the printable image)

If it may help with his sisters:
    Nogal,NM cemetery records here:
    http://newmexicoalhn.net/lincoln/nogal_burials.htm
    I see:
Note: Asher Emerson 22 Nov 1877 in Taney Co MO died 9 May 1929 Carrizozo, NM married to Eva Beagle.

Asher was single and living in the Beagle hotel in Magdalena in 1910,and by 1918 when he reg. for the WWI draft he was married to "Evaline". By 1920 they live in Nogal, and have two daughters-Charlotte who is 5,and Eula who is 2. By 1930,Eva then widowed, with the addition of son Amos who is 10,and she runs a dairy.

Looks like Della Beagle married Lee Charles Otto; they had one son Everett A.,and live in Albuquerque by 1930.
Looks like they are all buried in the same cemetery as Callie and Harry:
    http://newmexicoalhn.net/bernalillo/besunseto.htm
although Lee Otto has been entered as "Levi Charles".

Harry the son of William and Elmira Beagle? In Cherokee Co.,KS in 1880, with children George,William,Harry L.and two sets of twins-Adelbert and Adella who are 4,and Everett and Eva who are 1.
