Kerrick - Family History & Genealogy Message Board
- Re: hello all
Hi ckerrick1
My gramdmother is Lavini Belle Kerrick and she descdnds from the Kerricks of Faquier Co., VA and Loudon Co., VA. They descend from Hugh Kerrick of Port Tobacco in Charles Co., VA.
In this Kerrick Family there was a Benjamin Harrison Kerrick who was born in Charles Co., MD sometime between 1750 to 1760 who married Mary Carrico about 1771 and migrated to Kentucky. There was a Benjamin Harrison Kerrick, Jr. born in Shelby, KY on July 4, 1812.
Your Kerrick ancestor in all probability might descend from Benjamin Harrison Kerrick. You might want to contact a man who is a descendant of Benjamin Harrison. His E-Mail is as follows: itsme61701@yahoo.com
He has a lot of information on this branch of the Kerrick Family.

I must apologize for my brother...6 years ago and I just saw it. I am Christopher Wayne Kerrick. I had begun work on tracing the lineage of the Kerricks to Mass. GGrandfather was James Kerrick m. to Pearl Kennedy. in Shelby Co. KY. My grandfather was Elvin Kerrick b. KY. He married Barbara Simonson in Indiana where she still resides. My father, Kenneth Wayne Kerrick and mother Diana Patrice Kerrick (now McQuiston)also still reside in Indiana. Brother Nathan Kyle Kerrick currently resides in San Antonio, TX and I in Denver, CO. - Re: Great great grandaughter of James &Racheal McKiernan Kerrick
I was especially interested in the Beverly Stubblefield ancestry [m: Mary Elizabeth Kerrick] I have read a lot of postings on the message boards about this family.
Would you have any documentation [trails to follow] that would place Beverly as the s/o Michael Stubblefield s/o William Stubblefield?
I have my Stubblefield family listed in the 1860 CA census in the Sonoma/Napa area & know that 'my' Robert Coleman Stubblefield was living in the Stockton area at about the same time frame as the Kerric-Stubblefield family....but do not see a connection, yet. - Great great grandaughter of James &Racheal McKiernan Kerrick
It has been some time since I have read or posted anything. However, I am still interested in any Kerrick or Stubblefield information I can find. My great grandparents were Mary Elizabeth Kerrick and Beverly Stubblefield. I have old phots of Racheal Mckiernan and James Kerrick. Also some of the Jobes. I also have a beautiful photo of Susan Alcorn with her long hair flowing to her waist. I also possess Mary Elizabeth's autograph book with many entries of her cousins and brothers. I would love to share any information I have with others.

The orginial surname KARRICK is from the Rare Ancient Royal Family of Duncan de Carrick ,the 1st Earl of Carrick and Regent for King of Scotland of
Ayrshire,Scotland. He was a Descendant of a long Line of Ancient Irish and Scottish Kings, and the Norman Conqueror , William I, King of England .
Earl Duncan married Avelina, daughter of Allen FitzWalter and had sons; Neil 2nd Earl of Carrick, whose daughter Margory married Robert
