This Owen Greenan here that your talking about was born 10FEB1866 Ballynanny, Down, Ireland to John Greenan and Bridget Doyle. He was third of nine children (I have all names and dates).
I have met and corresponded with this fellow's grandson Richard Greenan who lives California.
We are related on my dad's side and we both have pictures.
You probably will never see this since you wrote this years ago, but to those that do....maybe we will talk soon.

I am looking for any information on the family of Mary Alice Greenan (1856-1924); daughter of John Greenan and Bridget Carraghan, wife of Patrick Byrnes (1846-1907), son of John Byrnes and Alice Leonard, all of Prince Edward Island and parishioners of St. Dunstan's Basilica in Charlottetown- My great grandmother; Ethel May Byrnes, moved to Oregon with her husband, James Edward Curry in about 1920 after a short stay in Winnepeg.

I'm researching a MARY GREENAN born 1821 in Ireland and died 25 March 1892, intered at St Mary's RC Cemetery, Lindsay Ontario.
Mary married a JAMES O'REILLY on 2 August 1857, Lindsay Ontario.

She was bn. 1837 in Ireland and d. 1911 in Kinkora.
James bn. 1841 in Ireland and d. 1906 Kinkora.

Bro. Peter marr. Mary J. Corr 10 6 1868.she was bn. 1852

My Fathers Name Was Francis Leo Greenan As far as I know he came from Cootehill Co caven I was last In Caven at the tender age of 8+ now 60+ I stayed with an Auntie Mary if you have any further Information it would be much appreaceated. Hi, have just seen this now. I am a descendent of their son, Thomas, who moved to Australia. I am his great grand daughter. My grandparents were Thomas and Laura's daughter Jane and Arthur Sidney Thurlow. I have created a family tree and would have info on most of the descendents in Australia.
